About me

I am a PhD candidate in Linguistics at the University of Chicago. My research interests include morphology, syntax, argument structure, valency, grammatical voice, fieldwork, language documentation, & Bantu languages. My dissertation is on Ihanzu (also written "Isanzu"), an endangered Bantu language of the Tanzanian Great Rift Valley.

Some of my non-linguistics hobbies are crocheting, reading, playing games, home fermentation, & taking pictures of the beautiful places wherever I happen to find myself.

When you cite my work (wow, thanks!), please use pronouns from the she/her series if you need to refer to me in the third person.
